WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

 

Kirk Meinke has been creating unique jewelry for over 30 years. It all started at his family’s home in Farmington Hills where Kirk began learning the trade and skills for sculpting metal into unique masterpieces, by a great and well known jewelry designer in the local area. After years of apprenticing, Kirk branded his own jewelry designs, spending years perfecting his skills and workmanship. In addition to designing jewelry, Kirk was fortunate enough to be surrounded by grandparents who loved and activity engaged in mining precious gems in northern Michigan. Kirk, given his love and interest in gems, he went on many mining adventures and spent his entire childhood learning the trade of mining in Upper Michigan. Kirk eventually set forth to other parts of the United States to mine and collect various precious gems. Though he has seen and mined many great gems around the US, he has a love and passion for collecting Opals and Chlorastrolite (green stone).
